Course Time-Conflict Request

Description

For example, a student wants to register for ENG 101 and CHE 120. ENG 101 ends at 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. CHE 102 meets on Mondays and Wednesdays only, but each class starts at 1:50 p.m. This creates a course time-conflict, but it does not mean that the student cannot register for both courses. If a student would like to take two courses with slightly overlapping meeting times, the following is required:

  1. This request must be completed by the student's advisor.
  2. Instructors of both conflicting courses must approve the time conflict.
  3. The Assistant Dean of the student's college must approve the time-conflict.
