Adding Co-Editors & Co-Publishers to Kaltura Videos

  1. Log into Canvas and go to your Kaltura My Media page. Scroll to find the video you wish to share with another publisher/editor and click the Pencil icon to the right of it.

  1. Click on the Collaborations tab. From here you can give the video away from your ownership by clicking Change media owner OR you can share use of it by click +Add Collaborator.

  1. If you clicked on +Add Collaborator a window will pop up. Type the username of the person you wish to share the video with and they should show up for you to choose.

  1. Now just check all the boxes of the privileges you wish to share.  

Co-Editor - allows them to edit the video 

Co-Publisher – The video will show up in their My Media page and they can add it to their courses. 

Co-Viewer- If the video is set to Private and not published it will still be accessible for viewing by the added username.
