Introduction
The Panorama LMS Accessibility platform is here to assist in getting every piece of your course content (assignment, page, PDF embedded, etc) more accessible for your students
Accessibility Score icons are located next to each file type or along the top of HTML content and provide a quick summary of the Accessibility Score based on their color.
Accessibility Checklist
Panorama's accessibility checklist is based on the international accessibility standards outlined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and also includes additional checks created from feedback received from our users. Currently, Panorama checks for PDF, DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF, PPT, PPTX, ODP, HTML, XLSX, XLS, ODS, and GIF file types.

Maintaining Accessibility Scores When Copying Courses in Canvas
Tips:
- Wait: Once you've remediated a course in YuJa Panorama, give it some time before copying it into another course it may need some time to process.
- Verify Accessibility after Import: Always use YuJa Panorama to review and compare course accessibility with the destination/new course.
- File Naming Conventions: Encourage descriptive file names for images, so that if alt text drops, at least the file name provides context. This is not a perfect solution, but if there's no alt text on an image of an arrow pointing to the Submit Assignment button, submitassignmentbutton.jpg is better than “image123.jpg.
