How to clear your browser's cache and cookies for: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari

Clearing Browser Cache and Cookies

 

Chrome

1. 3 dots, top right corner
2. Settings
3. Privacy and security
4. Cookies and other site data
5. Under ‘Preload pages for faster browsing’ click on ‘See all cookies and site data
6. Search nku or nku.edu, and click ‘Remove All Shown’
7. Quit and relaunch the browser via 3 Dots > Exit

 

Firefox

1. 3 lines in the top right corner
2. Settings
3. Privacy & Security
4. Under ‘Cookies and Site Data’ click on ‘Manage Data’
5. Search nku or nku.edu, and either click and Remove Selected, or Remove All Shown
6. Save Changes
7. Quit and relaunch the browser via 3 lines > Exit

 

Edge

1. 3 dots, top right corner
2. Settings
3. Cookies and site permissions
4. Manage and delete cookies and site data
5. See all cookies and site data
6. Search nku or nku.edu, and click the Remove all shown button
7. Quit and relaunch the browser via 3 dots > Close Microsoft Edge

 

Safari

1. Open the Safari Menu bar and select ‘Preferences’
2. Go into the Privacy tab
3. Click Manage website data
4. Search nku or nku.edu, click and select them, and click ‘Remove’ or click the ‘Remove All Shown’
5. Hit Done
6. Quit and relaunch the browser via Safari menu bar drop down, ‘Quit Safari’
