Visit https://secure.nku.edu. Click 'Logon'.

You will be directed to NKU's SSO page. Enter your NKU username and password.
Click the 'Download for Windows' button.

The download will automatically start.

Find the installation file on your computer. Double click to open the installer and follow the prompts to install Cisco Secure Client.
Start the Secure Client. Click the Start Menu > Cisco -> Cisco Secure Client.


Enter "secure.nku.edu" if it is not already in the address box and click "Connect". Enter your NKU credentials.


Once connected, you will see your time connected and time remaining. All connections have a 24 hour limit per session. To disconnect from the VPN, click "Disconnect". Be sure to save all work on network drives before disconnecting.


There will be an icon for the VPN client in the system tray in the lower right corner. Click this icon to open the window.
