How to Access COIVcenter for Class VMs

Note: if you're not connected to NKU's WiFi, you will first need to connect to the VPN: About the VPN (nku.edu).

1. Navigate to COIVCenter

• Open Google Chrome and go to coivcenter.nku.edu.
  • Note: You can use other browsers, but they are not officially supported, so Google Chrome is strongly recommended.
• Click LAUNCH VSPERE CLIENT (HTML)
• Login with your NKU username and password.
  • Note: username does not include @nku.
  • Make sure to agree to the terms.

2. Navigate to VMs

• Starting page when you login will look like this:

• Navigate one tab over and expand the folders until you see your class and its VMs.

3. Launch a VM

• Click on the VM for the class you need and power on.

• Launch the console to access your VM.
