Setting up your Teams Voicemail

  1. Click the three little dots to the left of your profile picture and select “Settings”

  1. On the right hand side, select “Calls” and then click the Configure Voicemail button.

  1. Here you will be presented with several options for your voicemail set up:

  1. You can Record a greeting by selecting the button which will take you to a number pad.

  1. Press 1 to listen to voice messages, 2 to change personal greeting, 0 to repeat menu
  2. After pressing 2 at the previous step, press 1 to record or play your regular personal greeting, 2 to play and record a custom out of office greeting
    1. The custom Out of Office greeting for while you are away will only be triggered if you select an “Out of office greeting” option at the bottom of the Voicemail screen.

  1. For both personal and out of office greetings options, you will press 1 to record, # to stop
    1. Then 1 to accept the greeting, 2 to rerecord, or 3 to delete and use default greeting
  2. Press * to exit this menu at any stage

 

Checking your Teams Voicemail

  1. To check your Teams Voicemail, select Calls on the left-hand side of the screen.

  1. Select Voicemail on the upper-right corner of the screen.

  1. Here, you will see who called along with a transcript of the call in the center. Click on the line to see more information about who called on the right-hand Details panels and access the recording.

  1. You can click the Call button to call the person back or click the three dots to the left of the call button to see more options.

  1. Your voicemail messages along with a transcript will also be delivered to your NKU email.
