Adding Outlook Online Calendars to Microsoft Teams

This article explains how to add a calendar hosted in Outlook Online to Microsoft Teams.

Prerequisite

You can only do this with calendars hosted by a user or shared mailbox in Outlook; public folder calendars are not compatible.

If the calendar you wish to add to Teams is associated with a shared mailbox, you will need to access the mailbox by following these steps. If you do not have access to the shared mailbox, please contact the Help Desk.

Publishing the Calendar

A calendar must be published before it can be added to Teams. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Sign into Outlook online with your NKU account.

  • If the calendar is located on a shared mailbox, open it via delegate access.

2. Click on the Settings icon in Outlook (it will be next to your profile picture).

3. In the Settings window, select Calendar, then select Shared calendars.
